About the Brand

Tea production requires tremendous knowledge, experience, and patience. Tea is a unique raw material – there are hundreds of different types of tea, and the taste of a tea infusion depends on the time of harvest and the method for processing the tea leaves. All of this has a huge impact on the final product.

The LOYD brand was created based on our business experience, passion and cooperation with the legendary London tea house Thompson Lloyd&Eward, which has been present on the market since 1760. We consistently develop segments of tea categories, we focus on leadership in terms of quality. Thanks to this, we are able to guarantee tangible benefits to our customers: a clearly deeper taste experience, functionality and utilitarianism, convenience of use of the product, as well as elegance and prestige.

The LOYD brand portfolio includes black, green and white teas, as well as dried fruit, herbs - including exotic proposals such as rooibos and yerba mate, as well as functional mixtures. Excellent flavour compositions are primarily obtained due to the use of selected natural materials of the highest quality. The high quality of the teas we offer is also guaranteed by the most modern machines for portioning tea in pyramids and strict quality criteria when selecting the natural materials used. Monitoring covers the entire production cycle, starting from the source, i.e. the crop, through harvesting and transport to the factory.

The premium teas market, to which the LOYD brand belongs, is very demanding, but thanks to modern and constantly expanding production facilities and innovative technology, we are able to deliver the highest quality products to the market. This is confirmed by numerous awards and distinctions, among which the Superbrands Created in Poland prize is particularly valuable. Last year, LOYD received it for the third time - in the third edition of this competition in Poland. The evaluation of brands took into account such aspects as: high brand recognition and the good image of the brand among both consumers and experts. Every year, innovative products are introduced to the LOYD portfolio. That is why in 2015, the LOYD TEA&Wine tea line appeared on the market inspired by the taste of white, pink and red wine and the line of LOYD herbal-fruit teas with Manuka honey flavour. In 2016, LOYD presented inspiring combinations of flavours, based on the juiciness and aroma of the beneficial gifts of the forest and exotic warming ginger.

Currently, the line of LOYD fruit teas features three new items: LOYD flavoured with cranberry and raspberry, blackcurrant with elderberry flower and cranberry with ginger. To present the unusual, exotic flavour of Yerba Mate to those who do not want to experiment with unusual methods of preparation, LOYD has recently introduced a new line of products based on the Paraguay holly plant. Excellent, fresh, fruity flavour profiles, such as: aloe vera and pomegranate, fig and grapefruit, mint and lemongrass or mandarin in a very refreshing, juicy way complement the sunny taste of Yerba. The use of pyramids, on the other hand, allows the free circulation of water, ensuring the most-flavoured infusion. Currently, more and more consumer needs are anchored in the sphere of health and support of the body. For this reason, LOYD functional teas from the "Recipe for..." series have recently appeared in shops. These are products of the highest "pharmacy" quality in popular pyramids. LOYD Recipe For a Good Night's Sleep - with lemon balm, chamomile, hops and mint - has a relaxing effect, supporting the physiological process of falling asleep. LOYD Recipe For Active Digestion - with mint, anise, fennel, caraway and liquorice supports digestion. In turn, LOYD Recipe For a Healthy Throat - with thyme, fennel, anise and thyme affects the proper functioning of the throat, larynx and vocal cords.

LOYD is an innovative brand that eagerly responds to consumer trends. Introducing tea in pyramids into the LOYD product portfolio was the result of a strikingly growing interest in new forms of serving tea. This shape, due to its three-dimensionality, allows the use of long tea leaves - previously found only in leaf (loose) teas, and also does not limit water from reaching dried matter, so that the infusion has a truly deep taste.
